The 504 Program provides growing businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as land and buildings. Typically, a 504 project includes a loan from a private-sector lender covering up to 50 percent of the project cost, a loan from the CountyCorp covering up to 40 percent of the cost, and a contribution of at least 10 percent equity from the small business being helped. CountyCorp is the only Dayton-based lender able to combine the SBA 504 and Regional 166 loan programs. The Regional 166 Loan Program provides loans for land and building acquisition, and equipment purchase. The typical loan structure involves a third-party lender loan at 50 percent of the total project cost, a loan from CountyCorp at 40 percent of the total project cost, and a 10 percent equity contribution from the business being helped. The CDBG loan derives its name and funding from the Community Development Block Grant fund. The purpose of a CDBG business loan is to provide low interest financing to businesses located in Montgomery County, outside the cities of Dayton and Kettering, with funds for building and land purchases, building construction or renovations, and equipment purchases. |
