Home Ownership Opportunities

CountyCorp offers special home ownership opportunities for qualified buyers. Typically, our homebuyers must qualify for a mortgage for majority of the purchase price from a lending institution or mortgage company. The assistance we provide compliments the homes we own and rehabilitate and works to reduce the amount the homebuyer will need from a lender. The dollar amount of assistance varies based on the home’s sale price. Our funds are lent to the buyer at 0% interest and require no monthly payments. Homebuyers must meet income eligibility requirements based on household size. The home must be the new owners’ principal residence and cannot be used as rental property.

Program requirements vary based on the development and the fund sources CountyCorp utilized to purchase and rehabilitate the homes. Our most recent opportunity area is within the city limits of West Carrollton in the Old Downtown Neighborhood. CountyCorp purchased and rehabilitated five homes and constructed two new homes. Huber Heights and Trotwood will feature our Signature Home Series beginning in the fall of 2009. Homebuyers should also look at the Ohio Housing Finance Agency’s First Time Homebuyer Program for incentives that may be available to them.
